Rapid Analysis of Bar Code Data
A bar code symbol's scan profile is graphically displayed along with a color-coded grade for fast identification of marginal or failing codes that require attention.
Online ANSI specification
Convenient access to the ANSI print quality standard is available, as well as detailed explanations of the parameters and calculations.
Context-Sensitive help
Help for ANSI parameters is available without scrolling through multiple screens. "Hot buttons" open windows containing information specific to the parameter in question.
Historical Comparison
Scanalyst™ provides the ability to review a bar code's current ANSI test results with those it achieved in the past. Any change causing decreased overall performance under ANSI, which in turn reduces the code's scannability, is detected.
Easy Communication of Results
Using the built-in editor, comments regarding scan results can be added to communicate suggestions for improving a bar code's quality. Hardcopy printouts can be generated or the data can be inserted into other applications (word processing, electronic mail, etc.).
